Huffer Free Coffee Friday

Brief:

Huffer is an iconic and innovative streetwear brand influenced by New Zealand and inspired by innovation and style.  Their main target audience consists of millennials and Gen-Z. The brief for this project was to create a Free Coffee Friday invite that would go on Huffer's social media channels. Free Coffee Friday is an event that the Huffer Britomart store holds where customers can  have a coffee, courtesy of the iconic coffee wholesaler All Press, whilst perusing in store. This post should reflect Huffer's cheeky, confident and risky tone of voice portrayed throughout their brand.

 

Solution:

After researching into Huffer's brand and sense of humour I brainstormed potential headliners for this post. This brought me to my four final concepts established from cheeky coffee puns and classic Kiwi/ New Zealand slang such as "Crackin a cold one with the bros" and "Sweet as, bro". Red is used as it is a colour commonly used amongst Huffer's collateral but also has an energising, fun and dynamic effect on its viewers. The design style follows the ongoing trend of street graphics that is seen in urban and hiphop advertisements and merchandise.
